Pawan's Gabbar Singh scores Rs 42.55 cr at Box Office

Pawan Kalyan's latest Telugu movie Gabbar Singh, which is a remake of Salman Khan's Dabangg, has smashed all records at the Tollywood Box Office. Harish Shankar directed film has raked in Rs 42.55 crores at the collection centres across the globe in the first week of its release. With this, it has set its own new record.

Gabbar Singh opened to an earth shattering response at the Box Office in Andhra Pradesh on the first day. The movie grossed Rs 25 crore nett at collection centres in the first weekend. It has collected Rs 28 crore in the state alone in the first week. It is a big record in the Telugu film industry.

Guntur - 3.20cr
Vizag - 2.59cr

Gabbar Singh has also received overwhelming response in areas other than Andhra Pradesh. The movie has raked in Rs 2.7 crore from the collection centres in Karnataka, while Rs 2.00 crore came from the rest of areas in India. It has collected whopping Rs 9.00 crore from screening in foreign countries in the first week.

However, Gabbar Singh, which features Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Hassan in the leads, has received positive reviews from almost all the critics. It has no big competitors in the second week. Hence, the movie is going strong at the ticket windows. It is expected to cross 50 crore mark soon.
