Ganesh Babu gifts diamond lighter to Puri Jagannath

Director Puri Jagannath was recently in news for lodging a complaint against producer DVV Danayya for not paying his remuneration for the movie Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu. The director is back in news and this time for all good reasons. Producer Bandla Ganesh Babu has presented him an expensive diamond lighter, which worth Rs 44 lakhs.

Reports suggest that the diamond lighter has been designed with 1,455 diamonds and its cost is Rs 44 lakhs. Talking about gifting an expensive product, Ganesh Babu says that Puri Jagannath is very talented director and he cannot be valued in money. The diamond lighter is a very small when compared to his value.

Ganesh Babu is basking in the success of recent release Gabbar Singh, which has set several new records at the Box Office with its rocking collection. The overwhelmed producer adds that he wanted to gift the diamond lighter on Puri's birthday, but he has gifted him now as it took lot of time to get ready.

However, Puri Jagannath is now teaming up with Ganesh Babu for his upcoming move Iddarammayilatho, which will feature Allu Arjun, Amala Paul and Taapsee Pannu in the leads. The film, which will have the music of Devi Sri Prasad, is expected to go on floors from September 20, 2012.
