seems
to
be
getting
tarnished
after
she
was
dragged
into
a
land
scam.
A
local
court
in
Hyderabad
on
Friday
has
ordered
the
Saifabad
police
to
register
an
FIR
against
the
actresses
and
five
others
in
connection
with
a
Rs
250
crore
scam.
The
court
directed
the
police
after
Ch.
Tirupathaiah
alleged
that
Genelia,
who
is
one
of
the
directors
and
brand
ambassador
of
Anjani
Puthra
Infrastructure
Private
Ltd,
along
with
five
others
cheated
him
by
faking
false
promises
of
constructing
two
duplex
houses
at
Kalvakol
village
of
Maheswaram
mandal
for
which
he
paid
Rs
54
lakhs.
He
claims
that
the
company
has
sold
a
total
of
500
plots.
In
the
complaint,
he
said
that
when
he
realised
that
he
was
cheated
and
went
to
the
State
Consumer
Forum
and
managed
to
bet
the
verdict
in
favour
of
him,
the
company
threatened
to
kill
him,
which
made
him
to
filing
a
complaint.
On
hearing
this,
the
first
Additional
Chief
Metropolitan
Magistrate
Court
on
Friday
ordered
to
file
cases
against
all
the
accuses
including
Genelia
under
Sections
420
(cheating),
406
(criminal
breach
of
trust),
120-B
(conspiracy)
and
506
(criminal
intimidation)
of
the
Indian
Penal
Code
(IPC).
It
has
asked
to
submit
a
report
by
March
27.
