Shaking
legs
for
an
item
song
has
become
an
easy
ticket
to
fame
for
most
of
the
actresses
in
Bollywood.
But
it
seems
that
has
not
become
a
popular
choice
among
the
South
Indian
girls!
We
hear
that
Ileana
D'Cruz,
the
most
sought
after
lass
of
the
regional
film
industries,
has
turned
down
a
plum
offer,
which
was
made
by
none
other
than
Pawan
Kalyan
for
his
forthcoming
movie
Gabbar
Singh.
Grapevine
has
it
that
the
makers
of
Pawan
Kalyan
starrer
Gabbar
Singh
approached
Ileana
for
the
item
song,
which
is
made
on
the
lines
of
Bollywood
chartbuster
track
'Munni
badnaam
hui...'.
In
fact,
she
was
offered
close
to
one
crore
for
the
three-day
call
sheet.
However,
the
Kick
star
refused
to
move
her
hips
for
the
special
song,
which
was
famously
made
by
Mallika
Arora
in
the
original.
It
is
said
that
Ileana
was
not
keen
to
do
the
song
because
down
south
the
special
songs
are
often
done
by
the
actresses,
who
are
jobless.
It
is
interesting
to
note
that
it
was
earlier
reported
that
the
actress
had
replaced
Shruti
Hassan
in
Gabbar
Singh
but
later
director
Harish
Shankar
denied
it
and
clarified
that
the
7th
Sense
actress
was
part
of
the
movie.
Meanwhile,
the
makers
of
the
upcoming
Telugu
movie
are
now
planning
to
approach
other
big
names
of
the
South
India.
Gabbar
Singh
is
a
remake
of
Bollywood
blockbuster
Dabangg.
The
Telugu
version
features
Abhimanyu
Singh,
Ajay,
Suhasini
Maniratnam,
Brahmanandam
and
others
in
the
cast.
The
movie
is
directed
by
Harish
Shankar.
