Ileana to act with Shahid Kapoor in PPNH

Actress Ileana D'Cruz is entering Bollywood with Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming movie Barfi, which is slated to hit the theatres on 14th September. Even before the release of her debut Hindi film, the South Indian star has bagged another plum offer in B-Town. The actress has reportedly been roped in to star alongside Shahid Kapoor in Rajkumar Santoshi's next film titled Phata Poster Nikla Hero (PPNH).

It was reported earlier that Shahid Kapoor was signed for Phata Poster Nikla Hero. Now, reports suggest that producer Ramesh Taurani has already finalised Ileana D'Cruz to essay the female lead opposite Shahid in the film. But the details of her role are being kept tightly under wraps.

According to reports, Phata Poster Nikla Hero will be an outright Bollywood masala entertainer. The movie revolves around the story of a young boy, who wants to be a superstar despite his mother's protests. The film is scheduled to go on floors later this year in November and will release in 2013.

However, Ileana D'Cruz has already completed shooting for her first Bollywood film Barfi and is now waiting for its release. Recently, it was being rumoured that the name of the actress was being considered for the movie Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai 2, but neither Ileana nor the makers have confirmed the news.
