Producer
Kona
Venkat
has
slammed
the
reports
that
his
upcoming
movie
Baadshah
starring
Junior
NTR
and
Kajal
Aggarwal
in
leads,
has
been
inspired
by
Akshay
Kumar's
Bollywood
film
Singh
is
King.
The
producer
says
that
the
reports
related
to
its
story
are
all
rumours
and
the
film
has
a
brand
new
story,
written
by
him
and
Gopi
Mohan.
Following
the
rumours
about
the
story
of
Baadshah,
Kona
Venkat
took
to
his
Twitter
page
to
clear
the
air.
The
producer
wrote,
"BAADSHAH
is
a
fresh
brand
new
story
being
written
by
me
&
Gopi
Mohan.
It
has
no
resemblances
to
any
other
film.
It's
not
even
inspired
from
any
film
of
any
language.
Any
news
or
gossip
regarding
the
story
is
a
mere
speculation."
Baadshah
is
being
shot
in
Italy,
and
Kona
Venkat
is
all
excited
to
join
the
team
in
the
country.
The
producer
further
tweeted,
"Leaving
for
Italy
on
18th
along
with
my
friend
Gopi
Mohan
to
join
our
darling
director
Sreenu
Vaitla
and
my
dear
friend
Tarak..Baadshah
time." He
added,
"Though
I
had
been
to
Europe
many
times,
first
time
going
to
Italy."
However,
Baadshah
has
often
been
making
headlines
ever
since
director
Srinu
Vaitla
announced
it.
It
was
rumoured
earlier
that
Junior
NTR
would
play
the
secret
agent
James
Bond
in
the
film.
Script
writer
Gopi
Mohan
had
slammed
the
rumours
saying
that
he
is
not
playing
the
role.
But
he
had
stayed
away
from
talking
about
his
role.
