Allu
Arjun's
recent
release
Julayi,
which
had
received
an
overwhelming
response,
has
continued
to
do
a
rocking
business
at
the
USA
Box
Office
in
the
weekdays
too.
The
romantic
action
movie
has
beaten
Ravi
Teja
new
release
Devudu
Chesina
Manushulu
(DCM),
but
its
business
seems
to
have
affected
by
the
grand
release
of
Salman
Khan's
Ek
Tha
Tiger.
Julayi,
which
was
released
in
America
on
August
8,
has
done
remarkable
business
at
the
USA
Box
Office
over
the
opening
weekend.
It
has
collected
Rs
3.70
crore
($668,027)
in
its
five
day
extended
first
weekend.
But
its
collection
from
Rs
1.07
crore
($195,001)
to
Rs
10
lakhs
($18,014)
on
Monday.
The
business
of
Telugu
film
Julayi
continued
to
dip
on
the
following
days.
As
per
Taran
Adarsh's
record,
the
movie
has
collected
Rs
9.12
lakhs
($16,308)
on
Tuesday
and
Rs
6.68
lakhs
($11,960)
on
Wed
and
its
collections
from
11
screens
is
yet
to
reported.
So
far,
its
seven-day
total
is
Rs
3.43
crores
($613,420).
Where
Telugu
film
Devudu
Chesina
Manushulu,
which
was
released
on
29
screens
in
USA,
has
opened
to
an
average
response.
The
movie
has
collected
Rs
1.83
lakhs
($3,288)
from
16
locations
on
the
first
day
of
its
release
in
the
country.
When
compared
to
Julayi
collections
on
Wednesday,
its
business
in
the
USA
market
is
very
low.
However,
Devudu
Chesina
Manushulu
had
a
low
profile
release
across
Indian
and
that
is
due
to
Ek
Tha
Tiger
and
Julayi,
which
have
occupied
maximum
number
of
theatres.
But
it
has
received
a
decent
response
in
India
and
its
first
day
collection
is
better
than
that
of
Ravi
Teja's
previous
release
Daruvu.
