Mahesh Babu snatches away Thums Up brand from Akshay Kumar

When you hear this 'Thums up taste the thunder' line next time on TV, you will be probably surprised to see it is not Akshay Kumar but Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, who will be doing stunts in the commercials! Well, the Pokkiri star has reportedly replaced the Bollywood actor as the brand national brand ambassador of the soft drink.

Mahesh Babu, who endorses products like Navratna Oil, Univercell, Amrutanjan, Provogue,Idea, Vivel and Jos Alukkas in Andhra Pradesh, is the new brand ambassador of Thums Up. The interesting point is that the superstar is the nation face of the product. The commercials, which were shot in Bangkok, will be aired from March 18. “The commercial will b aired this Sunday...watch out for it...by far one of my best :)”, the actor posted on his Twitter account.

He further wrote, “Like2thank d entire team of thumsup for making a really rocking commercial...thanks guys:)”
