Gabbar Singh is very sentimental project for me: Malaika Arora

Actress Malaika Arora Khan has done an item song called Kevvu Keka for highly anticipated movie Gabbar Singh, which is a remake of blockbuster Bollywood film Dabangg. In an interview to Oneindia, the item dancer cannot stop praising Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, producer Bandla Ganesh Babu and director Harish Shankar. Continue to read Malaika Arora Khan's interview.

Talking about Pawan Kalyan, Malaika Arora says, “I got to know that the song Kevvu Keka is a foot-tapping dance. I was happy that I was going to be a part of such a wonderful project that is produced by Parameshwara Art productions. I am glad to work with Pawan, who is so loved and appreciated. He is extremely humble and wonderful person.”

The 'Munni Badnam hui' star adds, “We only used to hear about the south Indian heroes that they are treated like gods, but today, I got to see this with my on eyes, how the public crowd loves him and the kind of response he is getting. He is very easy going and is comfortable to work with. It was really a wonderful experience.”

On accepting the project, Malaika Arora says, “For me, Gabbar Singh is very sentimental because it is remake of Dabangg. When Ganesh sir told me that he wanted me to be a part of the song, I immediately gave my consent for it because I knew that it's a wonderful project. I heard the song many times and I loved it. It is really outstanding. We are all enjoying and dancing to its tunes.”

The actress adds, “Ganesh sir is a wonderful producer to work with. He is very humble and it is a delight to work with him. He has gone out of his way to make sure that I am comfortable and well taken care of. I wish all the best to him and I wish Gabbar Singh a super success at the Box Office.”

Talking about the director of Gabbar Singh, Malaika Arora says, “I have never met Harish, but when I met him for the first time on the sets of Gabbar Singh, I got to know that he has so much of energy and love for his craft. He is so involved in every single aspects of filmmaking. One would always say that dance director take over the team during the shooting of a song, which is absolutely wonderful.”

She adds, “But Harish sir has been there to make sure that he is overlooking every single aspect of the song. It is an absolute delight to work with him. He ensured that I was comfortable and easing with every step and move that was given to me. Well! All I can say is that Gabbar Singh is Kevvu Kaka. I would suggest everybody out there to watch the film. It is going to be a huge huge hit. I have all that faith. Go, watch the film and enjoy it. Kevvu Keka rocks!”
