Mega family films rock at Box Office in 2012

Telugu film industry has produced hundreds of movies so far in 2012 and several of them turned out to be blockbusters. But this year obviously belongs to the Mega family, which has released four movies in 2012 and all of them have been successful in rocking the audience and proved big hits at the Tollywood Box Office. It is really celebration time for the Mega fans.

The Mega family heroes like Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan Teja and Allu Arjun were facing a severe setback and finding it difficult to make it big at the Box Office. Their movies in recent years had proved to be average grossers at the collection centres across the globe. But their films like Racha, Gabbar Singh, Julayi and Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu (CGTR) have done wonderful business and turned out to be big hits.

Mega Family Hit Film - Racha

Ram Charan Teja's last movie Orange, which had hit the screens in 2010, had received poor reviews and ratings from film critics. This romantic comedy had also bombed at the Box Office. But his 2012 release Racha has done wonders at the Box Office. The movie, which was made with Rs 30 crores, has collected over Rs 55 crores nett. It has brought back the fallen image of Cherry in the market.

Mega family hit film - Julayi

For the past couple of years, Allu Arjun had facing tough time with his movies like Varudu, Vedam and Badrinath utterly falling back in giving him a big break. But Julayi, which hit the screens on August 9, 2012, brought a smile on the Stylish Star's face. The movie has become the highest grosser in Bunny's career with its collection crossing Rs 45 crores nett.

Mega Family Hit Films - Gabbar Singh

Power Star Pawan Kalyan had lost his power in recent years and his previous releases like Puli, Theenmaar and Panjaa proved average grossers at the Box Office. But his film Gabbar Singh, which was released in the theatres on May 11, 2012, has rocked the viewers and collected approximately Rs 80 crores at the worldwide Box Office. It has become the highest grosser in Pawan's career.

Mega Family Hit Films - Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu

It's a double success for Pawan Kalyan in 2012. After Gabbar Singh, his another movie Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu, which hit the screens on October 18, 2012, has also opened to an earth-shattering response. Although it has failed to the opening week record of Gabbar Singh, it has already crossed Rs 50 crore mark and proved hit at the Box Office in just two weeks.

Will Mega Family Score Another Hit With Rey?

The Mega family is set to introduce a new talent named Sai Dharam Tej, who is the son of Chiranjeevi's sister. Sai Dharam Tej is making his debut the movie Rey, directed by YVS Chaudhuray. With the movie releasing as Christmas treat, it should be seen whether it would be fifth hit of the Mega family in 2012.
