Telugu
actor
Mohan
Babu
is
reportedly
upset
with
the
organisers
of
the
CineMAA
Awards.
Sources
claim
that
the
senior
Tollywood
star,
who
had
been
invited
to
felicitate
close
friend
K
Raghavendra
Rao
with
the
Lifetime
Achievement
award,
walked
out
of
the
awards
event
in
the
middle
after
he
was
not
given
due
respect.
He
was
deeply
annoyed
with
the
unprofessional
arrangement
of
the
organisers.
He
had
been
asked
to
hand
out
a
coveted
award
to
his
good
friend
Raghavendra
Rao.
But
he
did
not
get
his
due
respect.
After
he
garlanded
Raghavendra
Rao,
the
emcee
of
the
show
asked
him
and
others
to
leave
the
stage.
Meanwhile,
he
requested
Allu
Aravind,
Nagarjuna,
Chiranjeevi
and
ANR
to
stay
back
on
stage
to
felicitate
Raghvendra
Rao.
Mohan
Babu,
who
was
deeply
annoyed
with
the
unprofessional
arrangement
of
the
organisers,
had
no
choice
other
than
vacating
the
place.
But
top
officials
of
MAA
TV
have
denied
any
breach
of
protocol.
A
MAA
TV
official
says
that
Mohan
Babu
had
come
on
the
stage
to
felicitate
Raghavendra
Rao
and
even
garland
him.
But
he
adds
that
since
he
had
to
attend
to
some
personal
work,
he
could
not
stay
back
for
the
final
felicitation.
However,
the
CineMAA
Awards
2012
was
a
star-studded
affair,
which
was
held
in
HICC
Novotel,
Hyderabad
on
Sunday
evening,
June
17.
Sources
from
the
industry
say
that
the
function
was
hijacked
by
the
Chiranjeevi
and
Akkineni
families
since
they
are
the
co-owners
of
the
MAA
TV
channel.
