Musician Chakri's father Venkata Narayana dies of heart attack

Popular music director Chakri's father Jilla Venkata Narayana, who has acted in a few movies, died on November 1, 2012, following massive heart attack. According to reports, he suffered a cardiac arrest at 6 am on Thursday. The 73-year teacher-turned-actor is survived by his wife, two sons and three daughters.

Jilla Venkata Narayana started his career as a teacher in Mahaboobabad, Warangal district. He had sung a few hit numbers in the movies like Dhana Lakshmi I Love You and Love In Hyderabad for which his son Chakri had scored music. He had even played some small roles in films like Gopi Gopika Godavari, Ranga The Donga, Jai Bolo Telangana and Veedu Theda.

The sudden death of Jilla Venkata Narayana has shocked the people in the Telugu film industry. His son Chakri was busy with his music works in Hong Kong when he breathed his last. However, reports suggest that the musician is now his way back to the city to attend his father's cremation services, which are expected to be held today (Friday).
