Nayantara gets a whopping remuneration

When a lot of big offers coming her way from different film industries, Nayantara has no reason why she cannot cash in on her demand. As a result, she has signed a Telugu film for which she has received a whopping remuneration.

We have said recently that Nayantara has signed a new Telugu film to be directed by Dasaradh of Mr Perfect fame. But little less we knew that the makers of the film, apart from offering her a good role, paid a bomb to act her in the film. If sources are to be believed, the actress has got Rs 1.5 crore to play the female lead in the movie.

The above mentioned figure is the highest paid remuneration for a South Indian actress till date. The only actress was close to reach the mark was Ileana D'Souza for her Tamil film Nanban. It was said that she was paid Rs 1.25 crore and she also received additional Rs 20 lakhs for her other expenses.

However, Nayantara's forthcoming movie will star Nagarjuna and it is produced by D Siva Prasad Reddy on the banner Shri Kamakshi Enterprises. Other details about the project are under wraps.
