grosser
at
the
Tollywood
Box
Office.
According
to
reports,
the
Telugu
remake
of
Dabangg
has
collected
more
than
Rs
150
crores
at
the
worldwide
Box
Office
in
60
days.
With
this
the
film
has
become
the
first
film
to
start
the
club
of
Rs
100
crore
movies
in
Telugu.
Gabbar
Singh,
which
has
been
made
with
a
budget
of
Rs
30
crore,
was
released
in
theatres
across
the
globe
on
May
11,
2012.
Wherever
the
movie
was
released,
it
received
an
overwhelming
response
in
all
areas.
The
film
collected
a
staggering
Rs
128.75
crore
in
just
three
weeks
(till
June
1)
in
both
domestic
and
global
market
together.
According
to
trade
experts
in
Tollywood,
Mahesh
Babu's
Dookudu,
which
was
released
in
December,
2011,
had
grossed
Rs
83.15
crore
in
21
days.
Ram
Charan
Teja's
Magadheera,
which
hit
the
theatres
in
August
2009,
had
raked
in
Rs
90
crore
in
the
three
weeks.
Gabbar
Singh
has
broken
records
of
both
films
and
set
its
own
new
and
very
big
mark
at
the
Tollywood
Box
Office.
Besides
India,
Gabbar
Singh
has
done
wonderful
collection
at
the
USA
Box
Office,
where
it
had
scored
Rs
4.50
crore
from
43
screens.
It
had
beaten
the
first
weekend
record
of
big
budget
Hindi
films
like
Rockstar
(Rs
3.30
crore),
Desi
Boyz
(Rs
3.79
crore),
Ek
Main
Aur
Ekk
Tu
(Rs
3.5
crore).
However,
Gabbar
Singh
has
now
completed
68
days
at
the
worldwide
Box
Office.
The
movie
is
still
receiving
good
response
in
India
and
a
few
centres
in
USA.
A
couple
of
weeks
ago,
the
makers
of
the
movie
had
grand
success
party
on
its
completion
of
50
days.
The
film
has
created
an
all-time
record
so
far.
