kick-started
the
shooting
of
his
Bollywood
debut
film
Zanjeer,
a
cult
classic
Hindi
film
of
the
same
name
starring
Amitabh
Bachchan.
The
actor
shared
this
latest
development
with
his
followers
on
Twitter.
The
delighted
star
claimed
that
he
was
in
Mumbai
to
take
part
in
the
first
schedule
of
the
shooting.
He
wrote,
“In
Mumbai
shooting
for
the
first
schedule
of
Zanjeer.
Its
a
GRT
team
im
working
with.so
pls
wish
them
all
the
best
!!!”
Despite
facing
opposition
from
Salim-Javed,
the
original
writers
of
Zanjeer,
over
copyright
issues,
the
latest
version
took
off
yesterday
under
the
direction
of
Apoorva
Lakhia.
The
upcoming
Hindi
film
is
produced
by
Prakash
Mehra
and
Priyanka
Chopra
is
likely
to
pair
up
with
Ram
Charan
Teja
in
the
movie.
Meanwhile,
Ram
Charan
Teja's
Racha
is
heading
towards
creating
a
new
history
at
the
Telugu
Box
Office.
The
movie
recorded
Rs
15
plus
crore
in
the
first
weekend.
