Rajamouli's Eega release likely to be delayed

Director SS Rajamouli's upcoming movie Eega is one of the most anticipated movies in Telugu. But, here is a sad news for the movie buffs, who are eagerly waiting to see the film. According to sources, the Sudeep and Samantha starrer film is likely to be delayed because of its post-production works, which may take some more time to complete.

The movie Eega was initially scheduled to release the movie on April 2012. But, it has now been postponed to mid June. Sources claim that the reason behind its delay is its extensive CGI and VFX work, which has created a lot of buzz. It is said that Rajamouli is taking extreme care to come out with a superb product.

However, Eega is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual socio-fantasy film. It is a live action graphical film, which has an animated character ‘House Fly’ in the title role. Nani is playing the protagonist, while Kannada actor Sudeep appears as the antagonist. Samantha is reprising the role of the leading lady.

The main story of the movie is the villain kills the hero and the hero is reborn as Eega (fly). Eega happens to remember what happened in it’s last birth. The rest of the story is about Eega’s indomitable effort to irritate villain and take revenge on him. It is an experimental film with mainstream emotions and financial viability.
