I will miss Rajesh Khanna greatly: D Ramanaidu

Dr D Ramanaidu is one of the most popular filmmaker of Indian cinema. The producer has not only made films in South Indian languages like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, but also in Hindi and few other Indian languages. He has also produced three movies of Rajesh Khanna, who died yesterday in Mumbai following old age related deceases.

The filmmaker was shocked to hear the news about the sudden death of Rajesh Khanna. D Rama Naidu, who was upset with the news, has sent condolence message on behalf of his Suresh Productions Pvt Ltd. He writes, "The first superstar of Bollywood Rajesh Khanna acted as a Hero in Our Suresh Production banner in three Hindi movies giving us Super hits, Prem Nagar -1974, Bandish -1980 and Maqsad - 1984."

Rama Naidu added, "I express my deep condolence for his sudden demise and will miss him greatly as he left us with so many wonderful memories. I will cherish them forever. My heartfelt condolences to his family. I pray to the Almighty Lord to give them courage, strength and support."

However, Rama Naidu-Rajesh Khanna combo movies like Prem Nagar and Maqsad were superhit at the Box Office in their respective years. 'Ye Laal Rang' from Prem Nagar has become ever green song. 'O Devi O Baby Tu Banja meri Biwi' from Maqsad was a trendy song, and youth around the country used to hum this song to tease girls during those days.
