Why Ram Charan refused to be an Idiot?

Ram Charan Teja at the audio launch function of Snehitudu, a dubbed version of Bollywood movie 3 Idiots, revealed a secret that was not known by many. The actor said that the original Hindi version was shown to him even before the release and he was offered to enact the role played by Aamir Khan but he turned down the offer.

The Magadheera star, who was the special guest at Snehitudu audio release, claimed that he was impressed by 3 Idiots when he saw the movie at a special screening before it hit the screens officially. The production house had also offered him the film. However, he was skeptic whether he could recreate the magic done by Aamir Khan in the Hindi version. Hence, he opted out of the project.

Later, he felt that director Shankar could have brought the best out of him. Bollywood filmmakers Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Raju Hirani, actors Vijay, Srikanth, Sharman Joshi and others were present when he made this statement.
