Ram Charan-Upasana’s sangeet: A Night at the Movies

Actor Ram Charan Teja and Upasana Kamineni's sangeet ceremony was a star-studded affair, where actors like Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun, Tamanna, Shriya Saran performed hit numbers. The event titled 'A Night at the Movies' was held on Monday night at the Annapurna Studios, which had 700 seating area, but the studio was packed with nearly 1,500 guests gathering.

A Night at the Movies, the two hour event, started at 10 pm on Monday night at Annapurna Studios with actress Tamanna and Charan's friends dancing to 'Subah Hone Na De' from Desi Boyz. Allu Arjun and Rana entertained the guest with some rib-tickling compering. Shriya Saran performed hit item number 'Chikni Chameli'. Charan's cousin Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati and Sharwanand also shook their legs for few popular songs.

The biggest attraction of Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni's sangeet ceremony was the screening of his Blockbuster movie Magadheera. A few clips from the movie were shown on the gigantic LED screen. These clips did not feature Kajal Agarwal, but it was Upasana whose face was morphed onto Kajal's. Allu Sirish's dance for the title track of Racha was another highlight of the event.

After Charan's family, it was the turn of Upasana's family and friends. It was her sister Anushpala Kamineni grooved to the most number of songs like 'Desi Girl' and 'Chikni Chameli' in the sangeet. Her friends and sister performed songs like 'Mere Hathon Mein Nau Nau Churiyan', 'Aa Re Pritam Pyaare', etc. Her mom Shobana got onto the stage as a video of Upasana grooving to 'Ek Do Teen' was aired.

However, the sangeet ceremony, which ended at 11.30 pm, witnessed the presence of Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Suresh Babu, Lakshmi Manchu, Srinu Vaitla, Dil Raju, Ravi Teja, Sunil, Sushanth, Reema Sen, Jayant Paranji, Naga Babu, Navdeep, Allu Bobby, among a host of other stars.
