Rana Daggubati playing villain in Rajamouli-Prabhas' film?

Actor Rana Daggubati, who was desperately waiting for a big break, has managed to get it from his recent release Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum. His performance in the film has flooded him with several offers, but he has not signed any new project. The latest we hear is that the hot hunk is likely to play an important role in Rebel star Prabhas' upcoming film, which is directed by SS Rajamouli.

The buzz is in the T-Town circle is that Rana Daggubati has given his consent to work in SS Rajamouli's upcoming project. It has already been reported that Prabhas will be playing the hero in this untitled project. Now, sources say that Rana will reprise a negative role in the movie. And this is for the first time, the grandson of producer D Ramanaidu has come forward to play a villain and that to for Rajamouli.

SS Rajamouli's yet-to-be titled project is an action adventure movie, which will reportedly have a period setting. The ace director is said to be very much impressed with Rana's chiselled body and his performance in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum. He reportedly thinks that would be a perfect foe for Prabhas.

This much-hyped untitled movie, which is produced under the banner of Arka Media, is currently in pre-production phase. The producers of the film, which will have MM Keeravani's music, have planned to start its shooting early next year. However, the raw physical fight between Rana Daggubati and Prabhas is surely going to rock the screens, if this news turns true.
