Rana
Daggubati
debuted
with
Telugu
film
Leader,
which
was
an
average
grosser
at
the
Box
Office.
The
young
star
proved
his
mettle
in
the
movie,
which
won
him
lot
of
accolades
for
his
performance.
But
despite
delivering
superb
acting,
most
of
his
movies
have
been
flops
in
his
career
spanning
three
years.
Now,
he
is
hoping
to
get
a
big
break
from
the
film
Krishnam
Vande
Jagadgurum
(KVJ).
Actor
Rana
Daggubati
bagged
Best
Male
Debut
Award
from
Filmfare
and
CineMAA
for
his
mature
performance
in
the
film
Leader,
which
also
landed
him
in
Bollywood
with
Dum
Maaro
Dum.
But
his
debut
Hindi
movie
also
became
an
average
grosser
at
the
Box
Office.
His
movies
like
Nenu
Naa
Rakshasi,
Department
and
Naa
Ishtam
have
proved
to
be
disasters
at
the
business
centres.
Rana
Daggubati
is
making
a
desperate
attempt
to
score
a
super-hit
with
his
latest
outing
Krishnam
Vande
Jagadgurum,
which
is
a
high-octane
action
film,
which
has
been
made
simultaneously
in
Telugu
and
Tamil.
The
movie
has
some
of
the
dare-davil
stunts
and
the
Leader
star
has
shot
them
without
taking
a
body
double.
He
insisted
on
bringing
reality
in
the
film.
However,
Rana
Daggubati,
who
can
be
seen
romancing
Nayanthara,
is
leaving
no
stone
unturned
to
promote
Krishnam
Vande
Jagadgurum.
He
has
appeared
on
several
TV
shows,
and
given
interviews
to
many
newspapers
and
web
portals.
Now,
he
is
pinning
lots
of
hopes
on
it
as
it
will
hit
the
screens
tomorrow.
Will
Rana
impress
mass
and
prove
himself
to
be
a
commercial
hero?
Only
time
will
answer
this
question.
