Just
a
day
after
Puri
Jagannath
and
DVV
Danayya
settled
their
issue,
another
director-producer
duo
had
a
fall
out
over
a
financial
affair.
Rebel
director
Raghava
Lawrence
and
producers
J
Baghavan
and
Pulla
Rao
are
creating
headlines
for
all
wrong
reason.
The
producers
have
officially
filed
a
complaint
with
the
Producers'
Council
against
the
director
over
the
exceeded
budget
of
the
film.
Reports
suggest
that
while
signing
the
project
Rebel
with
J
Baghavan
and
Pulla
Rao,
Raghava
Lawrence
had
promised
to
make
the
film
with
a
budget
of
Rs
22.5
crores,
but
the
producers
claim
that
the
director
has
overshot
its
budget
to
Rs
40
crore.
The
makers
of
Rebel,
which
was
released
on
September
28,
are
not
very
happy
with
the
cold
response
that
the
movie
received
from
the
viewers.
Meanwhile,
Raghava
Lawrence
has
also
lodged
complaint
against
the
producers
at
the
Director's
Association.
In
his
complaint,
the
director
has
claimed
that
producers
J
Baghavan
and
Pulla
Rao
have
promised
him
to
give
the
dubbing
rights.
But
he
alleged
that
they
have
sold
out
the
dubbing
and
remake
rights
of
Rebel
without
his
notice.
He
has
requested
the
Association
to
get
him
justice.
However,
Rebel
starring
Prabhas
and
Tamanna
Bhatia
in
leads,
has
done
a
decent
collection
at
the
Box
Office
in
India
and
overseas.
It
is
still
doing
well
at
the
ticket
windows.
When
it
was
time
to
party,
the
director-producer's
fight
has
really
disappointed
the
film
unit.
