Sourav Ganguly hasn't bought Golconda High School rights

By Ramchander

After chasing Khans (especially, Salman Khan) saying that they would star in every successful Telugu movie, now Tollywood has done it again with a cricketer! Well, we read about cricketer Sourav Ganguly remaking Golconda High School in Bengali and that has turned out to be a false speculation again.

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has denied the rumours, which claimed he has procured Golconda High School rights and would make his acting debut. The cricketer has said that he has not seen the Telugu movie nor he is interested to act in films at this stage.

Meanwhile, actor Sumanth and producer Ram Mohan Paruvu have said that they did not make such claims rather they came to know from a Bengali production house, which acquire the rights, that Sourav Ganguly was keen to act in the film. However, they assure that the Telugu movie will be dubbed in English.
