SS Rajamouli ends confusion over Eega release date

Several speculations were being made over the release date of the most-awaited movie Eega. SS Rajamouli has finally put an end to all those confusions. On his Twitter account, the popular Tollywood director has announced that May 30th will be the new release date of all versions of the movie.

SS Rajamouli took to his Twitter page to clarify several doubts related to the movie Eega. He first confirmed the release date. He wrote, “May.. May not.. May.. May not.. end of speculation! Due date confirmation!! MAY 30TH..Eega hatches!!!(sic)”

A section of media had raised speculations about the Malayalam and Kannada versions of Eega. SS Rajamouli wrote, “To clear confusion, Again..:) Eega and naanee are straight films. dubbed into Malayalam as"eecha". Dubbed films are not allowed in Karnataka.”

Meanwhile, Rajamouli also confirmed that Telugu version of Eega will be released in Karnataka. The director tweeted, “So eega will release in Telugu itself in karnataka. All versions will release on the same date, may 30th.”

However, Eega is an action graphical film, which has an animated character ‘Housefly’ in the title role. It is an experimental film with mainstream emotions and financial viability. Nani, Sudeep and Samantha are playing the lead roles in the film.
