Sudigadu: Riteish Deshmukh wants to remake it in Hindi

Allari Naresh's recent release Sudigadu has become super-hit at the Box Office both in India and the USA. Its huge success has now caught the eyes of several filmmakers in Bollywood. If we are to go by the latest reports, actor Riteish Deshmukh, best known for his comic roles, has evinced interest to remake the film in Hindi.

According to reports, Riteish Deshmukh has recently watched the Telugu movie Sudigadu at Cube in Mumbai and was impressed with the role of Allari Naresh. He is interested to play the role of Allari Naresh in its Hindi version. Sources close to the actor say that he is currently in talks with a few filmmakers to remake the movie in Hindi.

However, Sudigadu itself is a remake of Tamil film Thamizh Padam (2010), which was directed by CS Amudhan and produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri. Now director Bhimaneni Srinivas Rao has made some changes in the script to suit the native audience. Sources further claim that several producers have also approached the makers of Sudigadu and the negotiations are on.
