SVSC in not a remake of K3G: Dil Raju

Producer Dil Raju has slammed the reports that his upcoming movie Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC) is based on Karan Johar's family drama Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham (K3G). The producer says that his movie starring Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh in leads has a fresh and brand new story and it is not inspired by any film.

It was rumoured earlier that Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is the Telugu version of Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham. The rumours further claimed that Mahesh Babu is reprising the role of Hrithik Roshan, while Venkatesh and Prakash Raj essay the roles played by Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in K3G.

Talking to a leading English Newspaper, Dil Raju has denied the remake rumours. The producer said that Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is completely a new story and it is not a remake or based on any film. Meanwhile, Raju added that none of its characters are inspired by any role of any other movie.

However, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, which is directed by Srikanth Addala, is a family entertainer and it revolves around the relationship between father and sons. Mickey J Meyer is composing music for the film, which is expected to hit the stalls soon.
