Tamanna to recreate Sridevi's magic

The similarities between Tamanna Bhatia and Sridevi may be difficult to find out, except for the fact that they won the hearts of the youths with their performances. While the yesteryear actress not only got thumbs up for her glam avatars but also with some acting-oriented roles, the young lass is still waiting for such characters. However, the Badrinath girl is ready to step into the shoes of Sridevi!

Well, Tamanna Bhatia will be doing a role, which established Sridevi as a star. The hot and happening actress will be enacting the role of Rekha, an insensitive woman, in her Bollywood debut Himmatwala, a remake of the same film. It is interesting to note the makers of the film would re-shoot the song 'Nainon mein sapna...', which had taken the nation by storm in 80s, on Tamanna.

The buzz says that director Sajid Khan has asked Farhan Khan to choreograph the latest version and they are planning to shoot with expensive and colourful sets to recreate Sridevi's magic.

Himmatwala was directed by K Raghavendra Rao and starred Jeetendra and Sridevi. It was a remake of Telugu film Ooriki Monagadu featuring Krishna and Jaya Pradha.
