Linguswamy's Vettai to be dubbed in Telugu

After creating the devastating hits like Awara and Pandhem Kodi, director N Linguswamy is now all set to remake his another commercial hit - Vettai in Telugu. The UTV Motion Pictures presented film has been titled Bhale Thammudu and it will shortly be dubbed and released in Telugu.

Tamil film Vettai is an action thriller and it features Arya, Madhavan, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead roles, while Ashutosh Rana, Thambi Ramaiah and Nasser play supporting roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for the film, while Nirav Shah and Anthony Gonsalves have handled cinematography and editing works, respectively.

The story of the film revolves around two brothers. The elder is sensitive to violence, while the younger is a jobless rogue settled in Thoothukudi. After the death of their father, the elder brother turns a police officer and with the help of his younger brother, he secretly punishes suspects and save victims. But this irks two village dons, who begin to seek revenge on him. How the two brothers take on them and save their families will form the crux of the story.

However, the movie Vettai, which was released across the globe on 14th January, has received mixed reviews from the film critics. But these critics verdict did not deter the film from doing good at the Box Office. It has done wonder business at the collection centres in Tamil Nadu. Now, it remains to be seen whether Telugu viewers will like it or not.
