Khan's
Ghajini,

happens

the
first
Rs
100
crore
grosser
movie
in
Bollywood,
turned

heads
of
many
B-Town
filmmakers
towards
South
industry.

actors

Salman
Khan
have
come
forwards
to
remake
many
South
films.

in
the

Aamir
Khan
wants
to
star
in
the
Hindi
version
of
Chiranjeevi's
classic
film
Rudraveena.
It
is
rumoured
that
Mr
Perfectionist
Aamir
Khan,
who
watched
Rudraveena,
has
absolutely
fallen
in
love
with
the
movie,
which
was
directed
by
K
Balachander.
Reports
suggest
that
the
Bollywood
superstar
want
to
play
the
iconic
role
played
by
Chiranjeevi
in
its
Hindi
remake
of
the
Telugu
film.
It
is
further
reported
that
Aamir
himself
has
requested
Balachander
to
wield
megaphone
for
the
Hindi
version.

around
the
story
of
a
classical
singer,
who
believes
in
changing
society
through
his
music
and
will
power.
The
film
was
about
the
ideological
clash
between
a
young
singer

Chiranjeevi
played
the
singer,
while
actress
Shobana
appeared
as
his
love
interest.
Gemini
Ganesan
essayed
the
role
of
his
father.
Released
on
March
4
in
1988,
Rudraveena
had
won
rave
reviews
from
film
critics
and
the
viewers
had
also
given
it
thumbs
up.
The
movie
was
a
big
success
both
critically
and
commercially.
Later,
it
was
remade
in
Tamil
as
Unnal
Mudiyum
Thambi
and
Superstar
Kamal
Hassan
played
the
lead
role
in
the
film.
Interestingly,
this
Tamil
version
was
also
directed
by
K
Balachander.
