All Time Highest Grosser Telugu Movies At AP Box Office

The year 2013 seems to be a lucky year for the Telugu film industry as several Tollywood movies have struck gold at the Box Office. Trade experts in the film nagar opine that the industry has scored hit films this year. Interestingly, five Telugu flicks have made it to the list of top 10 all time highest grosser movies at the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Box Office in 2013.

Even more interesting fact is that with Ram Charan Teja starrer Magadheera topping the list of all time highest grosser movies at the AP Box Office, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's recent release Attarintiki Daredi has now landed in the second place. The Trivikram Srinivas-directed film has pushed down the Power Star's previous release Gabbar Singh to the third position. It has set several new records.

Despite being leaked online before its theatrical release, Attarintiki Daredi, which has been made with Rs 40 crores, has collected Rs 57.73 crores nett at the AP Box Office in 38 days and has become the second all time highest grosser Telugu movie. Now, it is heading fast to beat the record of Magadheera.

Gabbar Singh, which was made with a budged of Rs 28 crores, was released on May 11 and received an earth-shattering response at the Box Office. It has shattered all opening records of 81 years of Telugu Cinema. It has become the third all time highest grosser Telugu movie with its collection Rs 50.85 crores nett at the AP Box Office.

Superstar Mahesh Babu's Dookudu, which was made with a budget of Rs 38 crores, has collected Rs 41.80 crores nett at the AP Box Office in its lifetime. With the entry of Attarintiki Daredi, the Srinu Vaitla directed movie has slided down from third to fourth place in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies.

Prabhas starrer Mirchi is the new entry to the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies. The movie has collected Rs 39.9 crores nett at the AP Box Office and landed in the fifth place in the list.

Ram Charan Teja starrer Naayak is another Blockbuster movie of the year 2013. The VV Vinayak-directed film has collected Rs 38.95 crores nett at the AP Box Office in its lifetime and landed in sixth place in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies.
