Arundhati is the most difficult film in my career: Sonu Sood

Remembering his 2009 Telugu Blockbuster Arundhati, actor Sonu Sood, who is now fast recovering from fractures in his leg, says he had a tough time shooting for the Kodi Ramakrishna-directed film. The actor describes this project as the most difficult movie in his career and every moment spent on it is worth of it.

Arundhati is a 2009 fantasy film written and directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and Sonu Sood has played a villain named Pashupathi, a womaniser and master in tantric arts. Besides heroine Anushka Shetty, his performance was very crucial for the film and he had delivered one of the best performances of his career. He has won lot of accolades from film critics as well as movie buffs.

On Wednesday, Sonu Sood took to his Twitter page and recalled his memories connected to Arundhati, which had become one of the highest grossing Telugu films of 2009. He tweeted, "Must admit the most difficult shoot of my career till date. Shot for 70 hours once." The actor added, "I was supposed to shoot for 30 days but shot for 160 days over a period of two years for Arundhati. Must admit every second spent was worth."

Sonu Sood has been roped in to play a crucial role in Rani Ranamma, which is directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. But it was recently rumoured that he was dropped from the project after following multiple fractures in his leg while playing a CCL match in Dubai. The makers of this movie are yet to confirm the news.
