Attarintiki Daredi (10 Days) 2nd Weekend Collection At Box Office
Latest Telugu release Attarintiki Daredi (AD), which hit the screens on September 27, has slipped at the AP Box Office in the second weekend following Samaikhyandhra protests over the division of Andhra Pradesh. Although it has performed well in other parts of globe, its overall collection is more than 50% down, when compared to its business in its opening weekend.
Attarintiki Daredi, which was a solo release, did a fantastic business at the worldwide Box Office in the first week with its seven-day collection reaching Rs 49.24 crore. But due to the UPA Government's approval of the proposal of formation of Telangana, protests broke out all in Seemandhra on Friday and they continued on following days too, taking a toll on the collection of the film.
According to SKN, the PRO of mega family heroes, the 10-day collection of Attarintiki Daredi stands at Rs 55.54 crores nett. On his Twitter page, SKN wrote, "#AD 10 days AP share 40.04cr.Karnataka 4.65cr,ROI 1.65cr,Overseas 9.2cr, World wide Total share 55.54cr ALL TIME INDUSTRY RECORD for 10 days."
Attarintiki Daredi, which has been reportedly made with a whopping budget of Rs 55 crores, has managed to recover its production cost in 10 days. But if the Seemandhra protests continue, the film might not be able to get huge amount of prospects for its producer BVSN Prasad. In its third week, the Pawan Kalyan, Samantha and Pranitha starrer will face strong competition from Jr NTR's Ramayaa Vastavayya.
AD - Second Combo Film Of Trivikram-Pawan
Attarintiki Daredi, which has been directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is the next outing of Power Star Pawan Kalyan after Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu. It is the second combo movie of Trivikram and Pawan.
Hype For Attarintiki Daredi
Attarintiki Daredi had made it to the headline for several times for all good reasons. Adding to this, its promos had soared up the viewers' curiosity to the sky high. The hype had made the film goers eagerly wait for it.
Delay In AD Release
Attarintiki Daredi was initially slated to release on July 7, but the unrest political situation kept its release date pushing ahead. Finally, BVSN Prasad decided to release it on October 10 along with Junior NTR's Ramayya Vasthavayya.
AD Leak And Piracy
But an assistant from editing room alleged leaked 90-video of the film Attarintiki Daredi on internet two weeks before it hit the screen. However, the makers managed to control the piracy of the movie.

Following the leak of Attarintiki Daredi, the whole industry came to the support of the producer, who arranged huge amount of theatres for the film in very short span of time and announced the advancement of its release date on.

Attarintiki Daredi hit the screens across the globe on September 27 and got superb opening everywhere. The movie set record in several distribution areas with its wonderful collection.
Positive Reviews For AD
The movie garnered positive reviews from almost all the film critics. Most of them rated the film 4 stars out of 5. In addition, the viewers also liked it and spread a good word of mouth.

The business of Attarintiki Daredi went down on Saturday, but it showed improvement on Sunday. On Monday, it once again declined and it maintained rock-steady on the following days.
