Attarintiki Daredi Crosses Magadheera!! Congrats To AD Team: Rajamouli

Ram Charan Teja's Blockbuster movie Magadheera has been the all time highest grosser in the history of Telugu cinema. Now, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's recent release Attarintiki Daredi (AD) has topped the chart, beating the previous record. Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who has helmed Magadheera (MD), has expressed his happiness over the latter's success. Congratulating the AD team, the director says it is a historic moment not just for the film unit, but also for the entire Telugu film Industry.

Excited SS Rajamouli took to his Twitter account this morning (October 26) to congratulate Attarintiki Daredi team. In a series of tweets, the director spoke about the power of Tollywood and the threat of piracy. He tweeted, "#ADcrossesMD!! Congratulations to the whole team for the new IH status. and congrats to PSPK fans too..:) When Shyamprasadreddy garu said."

SS Rajamouli opines that Attarintiki Daredi crosses Rs 100 crore mark at the Box Office. He wrote, "The capacity if a good telugu film is 100crs 5 yrs back, we thot he was joking. Now #AD is going to make it a reality.. Historic moment not just for team AD, but for the entire Telugu film Industry. But the threat of piracy still looms large. We all know the numbers would have."

The director continued, "Been even bigger, if not for piracy. A superhit film might not get severely affected by it but all other films gets a heavy blow." He added, "Solution? As trivikramgaru said "killi kotlo cigaretlu dorukithaayi. Thaagaala vadda annadi vyakthigatha nirnayam.." Can't put it any better."
