Attarintiki Daredi Out Of Race, Anna Is Sure To Rock: Kasi
Tamil superstar Vijay starrer Thalaivaa, which has been dubbed in Telugu as Anna, is 2 hours and 50 minutes long. Kasi Vishwanath, who has produced the Telugu film, says the lengthy running time of a movie is not a problem when a star actor is associated with it. With Attarintiki Daredi out of race, the producer is very confident about the success of Anna at the AP Box Office.
"Running time shouldn't be a problem for star films as they have a face value. Audiences come to watch their films because most of our stars are crowd-pullers and, moreover, if the content is good, then people don't mind sitting in a cinema for a longer time," Vishwanath told IANS.
"So many star films in the past have been three hours long, but audiences never had a problem watching them. But what is important is that whether the film has a strong story to keep the audiences hooked throughout the film," he added.
He is confident of the success of Anna. "Now that Pawan Kalyan's film is out of the race, I'm confident that 'Anna' will do well. Vijay has a very good market in Telugu. This is a powerful political film and I'm sure it wouldn't disappoint the audiences," said Vishwanath, who has earlier produced Telugu film Krishna. Continue to see read more in the slideshow.

Directed by AL Vijay, Anna features Superstar Vijay and actress Amala Paul in the lead roles. Ragini Nandwani, Santhanam and Abhimanyu Singh will also appear in important roles.
Delay In Attarintiki Daredi Release
Anna was to clash with Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi, which was earlier slated to release on August 7. But the latter has been delayed following the political upheaval due to the division of the state.
Attarintiki Daredi Was To Release In 1000 Screens
Attarintiki Daredi starring Pawan Kalyan, Samantha and Pranitha in the leads is one of the most-awaited Telugu movies of 2013. The makers had planned to release the film in more than 1,000 screens in Andhra Pradesh on August 7.
Anna Takes Over AD Screens
With the delay in the release of Attarintiki Daredi, the 1,000+ screens have remained empty for other movies. While the distributors of Chennai Express took away a few of them, producer Kasi Vishwanath has managed to book some of them for Anna.
Anna Releasing Record Number Of Screens
Anna is now releasing in record number of theatres in the state. Kasi Vishwanath is very confident that the film will do very well at the AP Box Office and break previous records of all Tamil-dubbed movies.
Will Anna Perform At AP Box Office?
Vijay's last two Tamil films Nanban and Thuppakki, which were also dubbed in Telugu, have turned out to be duds at the AP Box Office. It should be seen how Anna will perform at the ticket counters in the state.
