Director
Praveen
Sattaru
made
his
debut
as
director
with
LBW
(Life
Before
Wedding)
in
2011.
A
year
after
the
release
of
his
second
venture
Routine
Love
Story,
he
is
making
his
comeback
with
his
third
movie
Chandamama
Kathalu.
The
director
says
that
he
has
named
the
Telugu
drama
after
his
childhood
story
book
of
the
same
name,
because
he
feels
the
title
is
apt
for
the
script
of
the
movie.
Talking
to
IANS,
Praveen
Sattaru
said,
"I
grew
up
listening
to
Chandamama
Kathalu.
My
grandmother
used
to
read
them
to
me
and
I
fondly
remember
them
for
the
collection
of
stories
in
them.
I
decided
to
name
my
film
after
the
book
because
my
story
is
about
the
day-to-day
experiences
of
multiple
characters." He
added,
"There
are
multiple
small
stories
in
the
larger
story
of
my
film.
I
thought
this
title
would
perfectly
fit
the
bill,
and
therefore,
I
named
it
after
the
book."
The
film
Chandamama
Kathalu
features
an
ensemble
cast
of
Vijaya
Naresh,
Aamani,
Krishna
Chaitanya,
Krishnudu
aka
Alluri
Krishnam
Raju,
Richa
Panai
and
Lakshmi
Manchu.
Praveen
Sattaru
said,
"Audiences
will
appreciate
the
title
when
they
watch
the
film.
I'm
sure
they
will
connect
with
the
characters
and
understand
why
we
have
named
our
film
after
children's
story
book."
