Hyderabad:
Daughter
Of
Ram
Gopal
Varma,
which
is
being
made
with
the
tagline
"Story
of
A
Celebrity",
has
created
a
lot
of
curiosity
among
the
film
goers
for
its
controversial
title.
But
that
is
not
going
to
be
the
final
title.
The
latest
we
hear
is
that
the
Censor
Board
has
objected
the
title
of
the
film.
Hence,
its
producers
are
considering
on
changing
it
to
D/O
Varma.
According
to
reports,
the
makers
of
Daughter
Of
Ram
Gopal
Varma
have
recently
completed
the
shooting
and
gearing
up
for
the
release
soon.
But
the
movie
is
facing
trouble
over
its
controversial
title.
The
Censor
Board
has
reportedly
suggested
its
producer
to
change
the
title
as
it
has
the
name
of
a
celebrity.
The
director
has
explained
to
the
Board
that
the
film
is
not
related
to
Ram
Gopal
Varma
in
anyway,
but
in
vein.
Hence,
the
producers
are
left
with
no
other
choice
except
changing
its
title
to
get
the
Censor
certificate.
Now,
they
have
reportedly
decided
to
change
the
title
from
Daughter
Of
Ram
Gopal
Varma
to
D/O
Varma.
They
are
said
to
be
making
brisk
preparation
to
release
the
movie
with
the
new
title.
Interestingly,
D/O
Varma
is
directed
by
Kheja,
who
is
an
assistant
director
of
filmmaker
Ram
Gopal
Varma.
Produced
by
Narendar
Reddy
Bokka,
the
movie
features
Vennela
Kishore,
Naveen
Jackson,
Kavitha
Aaaras
and
Roja
in
leads.
The
film
has
PG
Vinda's
camerawork,
Aadesh
Ravi's
music,
Suresh,
Balu
and
Aadesh's
lyrics
and
Prawin
Pudi's
editing.
