Gautham gushes on his kissing scene with Thulasi in Kadali

Mani Ratnam has recently released the theatrical trailer of his upcoming film Kadali, which has been going viral on the social media. Besides Mani Ratnam's distinct style, what caught everyone's eye is a kissing scene between Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair. Debutante actor Gautham has revealed that he was very nervous while shooting for this sequence for the movie.

Talking about his kissing scene, Gautham Karthik says that he had earlier heard rumours about the scene in Kadali. But he had not believe them because director Mani Ratnam had not told him about this scene. The director told him about the scene on the day of its shooting, which made him go nervous.

In an interview to Times of India, Gautham Karthik said, "I do have a kissing scene with Thulasi. The funny thing is that I wasn't told about it." The actor added, "But on the day it was to be shot, I was suddenly told about it. Mani sir wanted it to be natural, hence he never brought it up. Of course, I was very nervous. However, Kadali is set in a fishing village and the story is universal. The movie is all about good versus evil. It narrates the story of an individual caught between sin and redemption. Lakshmi Manchu, Arjun and Arvind Swami have played important roles in this film, which has the music of AR Rahman and Rajeev Menon's cinematography. The film is slated to hit the screens on February 1.
