Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde is a 'confused comedy': Nitin

More than a year after the success of his film Ishq, Telugu actor Nitin Kumar Reddy is all set to dazzle the screens with his latest outing Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (GJG), which is slated to release in theatres on April 19. The actor, who has pinned lot of hopes on this film, says that it is totally a different attempt, especially the comedy portions, which he describes as a 'confused comedy'.

Nitin says that Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde is a romantic comedy and it is going to be a different experience for the film goers. The actor adds that it is a confused comedy. There are four central characters played by Nitin, Nithya Menon, Isha and a friend, but until the end, the viewers can not figure, who is wooing who. Talking about his role Nitin says that he appears as a software engineer Karthik, who thinks he is the smartest guy on the earth, but he turns out be the biggest fool at the end.

Nitin is a self-confessed fan of Pawan Kalyan and the the title Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde is taken from the lyrics of the song 'Dil Se' from his Gabbar Singh. He has also used the remix version of 'Nee Manase', a hit number from Pawan's Tholi Prema. Talking about the track, the actor says that it is going to be one of the main highlights in the movie.

For the second time, Nitin has teamed up with Nithya Menon for Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde after the success of Ishq. When asked about her character, he says that her role has multiple shades and she fits the bill the best. She has delivered a natural performance, which could have been an impossible act for any other actor. He adds that their chemistry would be much better than that of Ishq.

Vijay Kumar Konda has written and directed the movie Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, which is the maiden production of Nitin's sister Nikitha Reddy. The actor showers lavish praise on his elder sister.

Nitin says that Nikitha has done immense contribution to Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde. She has spent maximum time on its production and she was the key person in finalising the script, locations and costumes.

Anoop Rubens has composed the soundtrack of the film Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde and the Shreyas Music released its audio album into the market on 27 March 2013. All the songs have been well received by the music lovers.

Indian badminton player Jwala Gutta, who is a close friend of Nitin, is making her debut in films through a special song in Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde. Nitin says that it is another attraction in the movie.

Talking about remix 'Nee Manase', Nitin says that the movie needed a song for a situation when Nithya promises to meet him and his father Sudhakar suggested the song from Tholi Prema, which the film unit liked and used its remix version.

I Andrew has handled the cinematography for Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, which features Thagubothu Ramesh, Madhu Nanda, Raghubabu, Ahuthi Prasad, Sudha, Duvvasi Mohan, Sandya, Janak, Arun Kumar in the supporting cast.
