Hyderabad:
Junior
NTR's
recent
Telugu
release
Baadshah,
which
released
on
April
5,
has
been
still
going
strong
at
the
USA
Box
Office.
In
the
second
weekend,
the
Srinu
Vaitla-directed
film
has
once
again
topped
the
American
collection
chart,
beating
new
Hindi
release
Nautanki
Saala
and
old
releases
Sadda
Haq,
Daddy
Cool
Munde
Fool
and
Chashme
Baddoor.
Baadshah,
which
released
in
110
screens
in
the
country,
collected
Rs
6.03
crores
nett
at
the
USA
Box
Office
in
the
first
week.
The
Junior
NTR
and
Kajal
Aggarwal
starrer
managed
to
retain
78
screens
in
the
country
in
the
second
week.
Since
there
were
no
big
release
either
from
Hindi
or
from
any
other
regional
film
industries,
the
action
entertainer
once
again
did
an
extraordinary
business
in
the
second
weekend.
The
Telugu
movie
has
collected
$
1,25,404
from
78
screens
at
the
USA
Box
Office
in
the
second
weekend,
taking
its
11
days
total
to
Rs
6.72
crores
($
12,32,757).
Its
second
weekend
business
is
much
better
than
that
of
new
Hindi
release
Nautanki
Saala,
which
has
raked
in
Rs
50.66
lakhs
($
92,851)
from
61
screens
in
the
country
in
its
opening
weekend.
It
should
be
recalled
here
that
Mahesh
Babu
and
Venkatesh
starrer
Seethamma
Vakitlo
Sirimalle
Chettu
(SVSC)
is
the
all
time
highest
grosser
Telugu
movie
at
the
USA
Box
Office.
It
has
collected
total
of
Rs
8.90
crores
($
16,39,200)
in
its
life
time.
Now,
it
should
be
seen
whether
Baadshah
will
be
able
to
break
this
collection
record
or
not.
