Mahesh Babu-Sukumar's movie release date revealed

Hyderabad: Superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming project with director Sukumar is one of the highly-anticipated Telugu movies of 2013. The producers of this movie are yet to announce its title and reveal the first look and trailer of the film. Much before all these aspects, the makers have fixed its release date. Yes! This much-hyped film is releasing on August 9th, as a surprise gift on the eve of Mahesh Babu's birthday.

This yet-to-be titled movie is an action-thriller with lot of twists and turns in narration. Sukumar has got a chance to direct Mahesh Babu for the first time and he is leaving no stone unturned to make it a landmark film in his career. A source from the production unit claims that he has brought in many innovative ideas and executed them very well. The film is surely going to be a treat for Prince fans.

The shooting of this untitled movie was to start in February 2012 in Bangkok, but it actually began on April 23, 2012 in Hyderabad. In this first schedule, Mahesh Babu and Kajal Aggarwal shot a song on a special set worth Rs 1.5 crores built at Annapurna Studios. The film unit has also canned some portions in Goa in October, 2012. Some portions will be soon shot in Hungary, Germany and London.

However, the film is produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment. The movie will feature Mahesh Babu and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. It was to be released during Sankranthi festival, but was postponed due to delay in Mahesh Babu's Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Finally, it is slated to hit the screens on August 9, 2013.
