Nayantara rejects Shahrukh Khan's offer

Hyderabad: Most of South Indian actresses dream to debut in Bollywood and make it big there. But here is an actress, who has rejected the B-Town offer and that too an opportunity to star in Superstar Shahrukh Khan's most-hyped film Chennai Express, which is directed by Rohit Shetty. She is none other than our glamourous girl Nayantara, who is one of the most sought after stars in South India.

It is reported that Chennai Express has an item song, which has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar. The producers of this Bollywood movie thought that Nayantara would be a suitable face for this number and had reportedly approached the Malayali beauty to feature in the track of the film.

But Nayantara is said to have politely turned down the offer to perform the item song in Chennai Express. Reports suggest that the actress is not very keen on her Bollywood debut. Hence, she has rejected the Shahrukh Khan's offer saying that she is not interested in appearing in such item song.

However, Nayantara had stopped signing new projects after she decided to marry her ex-boyfriend Prabhu Deva. But following her break up with him, the actress made her comeback with Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, which has become a big hit at the Box Office. Currently, she is busy shooting for Akkineni Nagarjuna's film Greeku Veerudu, which will release during this summer.
