Nisha Kothari Coming Back To Tollywood With Criminals

Actress Priyanka aka Nisha Kothari, who debuted in Tollywood with Madhyanam Hathya, was last seen in Balakrishna's Oka Magadu in 2008. After five years hiatus, the model-turned-actress is all set to make a comeback to Telugu film industry. Director Tulasi Ram has confirmed that she will play a pivotal role in his upcoming Telugu movie Criminals, which is going to be a cyber-crime thriller.

Talking to IANS, Tulasi Ram said, "Nisha plays an important role in the film. The story is set against a series of cyber crimes and I thought she would fit the bill of one of the lead characters. The film is set to go on floors in September and we plan to shoot non-stop for over two months." The director added, "Criminals will supersede his directorial debut Mantra."

Tulasi Ram's debut directorial venture Mantra revolves around the story of a haunted farmhouse Mantra Nilayam. Comparing Criminals with it, The filmmaker said, "If 'Mantra' scared the living daylights out of the audiences, Criminals will keep them engaged with taut screenplay. It will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller featuring an all new cast."

Nisha Kothari, who turned actress with Tamil film Jay Jay, is currently also busy shooting for another Tamil flick Padam Pesum. She is known for films like James and Sarkar with ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. She is yet to get a big break of her career in the film industry.
