Power Star Pawan Kalyan is one Telugu actor, who has always maintained a safe distance from the media. He has hardly given interviews to any newspaper or movie portal or TV channel. Although he has never spoken about his private life in public, his martial life has become a big topic of debate for the media. Especially in recent times, his hookup and breakup with actress Renu Desai has created lot of stir.
Pawan Kalyan had married Nandini on 17 May 1997 and parted his way from her after two years of marriage. Later, the actor met model-turned-actress Renu Desai on the sets of the movie Badri in 2000. She was his co-star in the movie and he fell in love with her. She said good bye to acting after starring with him in another movie Johnny in 2003. Instead, she worked as costume designer for his films like Gudumba Shankar, Balu and Annavaram.
Pawan Kalyan's relationship with Renu Desai did not go well with Chiranjeevi, who had just launched his Praja Rajyam Party (PRP). The opposition had a field day with their relationship. To silence his critics, they got married in an Arya Samaj wedding ceremony at his residence on January 28 2009.
Pawan Kalyan and Renu Desai had a very silent and private wedding ceremony. Only Chiranjeevi, Allu Aravind along with their families were present at the event. The media was not allowed to attend the function, but soon after the marriage was solemnized, the couple stepped out and posed for the photographers.
