Hyderabad: Producer Lakshmi Manchu, who is all excited to release her next production Gundello Godari, celebrated the platinum disc of her much-awaited movie. The actress-turned-producer had organised a grand function for it at FNC Club in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening (March 6), and chief guests Dasari Narayana Rao and K Raghavendra Rao gave away the mementos to the technicians, who worked on the music album of the movie.
Music maestro Ilayaraja has composed tunes for seven songs of the movie Gundello Godari, while Chandrabose, Anantha Sreeram, R Ramu and Palani Bharathi wrote lyrics for them. The audio album was released into market by Adithya Musics on October 18, 2012 and the CDs were sold like hot cake as the music become very popular among the mass.
However, the platinum disc function of Gundello Godari was a grand event and it was attended by several dignitaries like Dasari Narayana Rao, K Raghavendra Rao, Mohan Babu, Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, B Gopal, MM Keeravani, Koti and others attended the function. But musician Ilayaraja, hero Aadi and Tapsee were absent on the occasion.
