Hyderabad: Actor Rajendra Prasad, who was last seen on screen in the movie Dream, is all set to make his comeback, but this time, he is turning a director. He will direct Sandeep, Deeksha and Tej Kumar in the romantic comedy movie Thondi, which was launched on March 2. The film unit will start its shooting from March 8 and plans to complete it in a single schedule.
Besides direction, Rajendra Prasad will also become a producer with the Telugu film Thondi. Talking to IANS, the actor-turned director said, "We are planning to finish the film in one schedule from March 8 in Bangkok and Malaysia. Rajendra Prasad plays an important role in the film."
Thondi is about how common people are cheated and Prasad highlights this with the story of the protagonist whose life goes topsy-turvy after such an incident. Rajendra Prasad added, "Unlike other films, Rajendra Prasad won't do comedy in it. His role is designed in such a way that the film will look incomplete without him. In short, it's a responsible character."
The film Thondi has cinematography by Nagarjun and music by Hari Nikesh. Meanwhile, Rajendra Prasad is also busy shooting for upcoming Telugu comedy Noothi Lo Kappalu.
