Prabhas' Mirchi completes 50 days in 238 screens

Hyderabad: Koratala Siva debut directorial venture Mirchi staring Rebel Star Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Richa in leads, has become a Blockbuster success at the Box Office in 2013. Besides joining Rs 40 crore club, the Telugu movie has several new records at the collection centres. The latest record of the film is that it has completed 50 days run in 238 centres across the globe.

Mirchi was released in 1,000+ screens worldwide on February 8, 2013. It has set a new record in USA by releasing in 76 centers there. The movie, which garnered positive reviews from film critics, received superb opening across the globe and a good word of mouth took its business upwards in the following days.

After the release of Mirchi, 32 new Telugu movies have hit the screens in the past 50 days and biggies like Jabardasth, Mr Pellikoduku, Mahankali, Gundello Godari and 3G Love were among those films. But the Prabhas-Anushka-Richa starrer is unfettered by them and has managed to have good foothold in the threatres. The simple reason for it is that the film goers loved watching it time and again.

Which is why Mirchi has completed 50 days in 238 screens across the globe. It has completed 50 days at 19 screens in Nizam area, at 38 screens in Ceded, at 11 screens in West Godavari, at 16 screens in East Godavari, at 22 screens in Vizag, at 15 screens in Nellore, at 19 screens in Guntur, at 18 screens in Krishna, at 8 screens in Vijayawada, at 6 screens in Karnataka, at 2 screens in Tamil Nadu, at 2 screens in USA and 62 in other district areas.
