the
big
hit
Telugu
films
of
2013.
The
movie,
which
is
currently
being
remade
in
Kannada,
may
soon
have
a
Hindi
remake
as
well.
The
Tollywood
filmmaker
is
keen
to
helm
the
Hindi
version.
Maruthi
has
written
and
produced
the
film
Prema
Katha
Chitram.
He
told
IANS,
"Talks
are
on
for
the
Hindi
remake.
We
haven't
finalised
anything
on
papers
yet,
but
if
it
happens,
and
I
happen
to
have
the
time,
I
might
direct
it.
I'm
interested
to
direct
it,
but
I
need
to
find
time
from
my
other
commitments."
Telugu
producer
Adi
Seshagiri
Rao
has
acquired
the
remake
rights
of
the
film
Prema
Katha
Chitram.
He
is
expected
to
tie
up
with
a
big
studio
in
Bollywood
for
the
remake.
The
horror-comedy,
directed
by
R.
Ravi
Kumar
was
one
of
the
biggest
low
budget
hits
of
the
year.
Reportedly
made
under
a
budget
of
Rs.2
crore,
the
film
minted
over
Rs.20
crore
at
the
box
office.
Prema
Katha
Chitram,
which
released
earlier
this
year,
successfully
completed
a
run
of
hundred
days
run
at
the
box
office.
It
features
Sudheer
Babu,
Nandita,
Praveen
and
Saptagiri
in
lead
roles.
The
movie's
Kannada
version
is
titled
Chandralekha,
which
stars
Chiranjeevi
Sarja
and
Shavi
Srivastav
in
the
lead.
