Ram Charan's Yevadu - Music Review

    The music album of director Vamsi Paidipally's much-hyped movie Yevadu starring Ram Charan Teja, Shruti Hassan and Amy Jackson in leads, has hit the stalls across the state on June 1, 2013. Brought to market by Adithya Music, the audio has received an overwhelming response from the music lovers. Its music CDs and cassettes are selling like hot cake in the market, ever since they hit the stand.

    The audio of Yevadu, which is about 28:05 minutes long, has six songs penned by Krishna Chaitanya, Sirivennela Seetharamasastry, Ramajogayya Sastry, Chandrabose and Sri Mani. Young musician Devi Sri Prasad has composed some of the youthful and fresh tunes for the soundtracks. Having meaningful lyrics, some of the songs are very melodious and trendy.

    Yevadu has two romantic duet, two mass numbers, an item song and a sad solo. Devi Sri Prasad has used western instruments as well as rustic beats for them. A couple of songs offer a chance to Ram Charan Teja to show his dancing skills. Like his previous music albums, the composer has played it safe and all his songs are decent and appealing. 'Ayyo Papam...', 'Nee Jathaga...' and 'Cheliya Cheliya...' will impress the mind and soul of the music lovers.

    Yevadu Song – 'Freedom...'

    'Freedom...' is a decent track about the free spirited nature of the young generation. Suchith Suresan's voice is a perfect match for it. Devi Sri Prasad has used a few western instruments for the song, which will rock the listeners.

    'Nee Jathaga...'

    Lyricist: Sirivennela
    'Nee Jathaga...' is a romantic duet song and Karthik and Shreya Ghoshal's vocals make it melodious number. The sounds of guitar and the synthesizer are the highlight of the song, which is going to be definitely a hit number from the album.

    'Ayyo Papam...'

    Singers: Ranjith, Mamata Sharma
    Lyricist: Ramajogayya Sastry
    'Ayyo Papam...' is an item song and Ramajogayya Sastry's trendy lyrics and Mamata Sharma's vocals are big assets of this number. Its rustic beats and earthy feel will enthral the music lovers.

    'Cheliya Cheliya...'

    Lyricist: Chandrabose
    'Cheliya Cheliya..' is a solo song, which describes the hero's sadness and anguish after parting away from his lady love. It is decent track with good lyrics.

    'Oye Oye...'

    'Oye Oye...' is a romantic duet, which is an average song and has nothing remarkable in it. The movie buffs might like it after watching it on screens.

    'Pimple Dimple...'

    'Pimple Dimple...' is a mass number, which has good pace. It will impress the front benchers with its rustic beats and earthy notes. Sagar-Ranina's vocals are good assets of the song.

    Overall, the music album of Yevadu is a mass entertainer and has tunes to impress all classes of audience. Devi Sri Prasad, who has produced back-to-back hit albums, is sure to score another big success with this movie.
