Ramayya Vastavayya (RV) - Movie Preview
The much-hyped and highly-anticipated film Ramayya Vastavayya is a mass masala entertainer, which has been written and directed by Gabbar Singh fame Harish Shankar and produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Young tiger Junior NTR and Samantha are playing the lead roles, while Shruti Hassan appears in a crucial role in the movie, which has got 'A' certificate from the Censor Board.
Ramayya Vastavayya is the second combo movie for Junior NTR and Samantha, who have earlier shared screen space in the hit movie Brindavanam. The film was officially launched at Dil Raju's office in Hyderabad on October 18 in 2012. The film unit started its shooting on January 3 and wrapped it up on September 27, 2013. Chota K Naidu has handled the cinematography for the movie.
The film is a romantic-action entertainer, which has all the commercial ingredients like romance, action, comedy, punch dialogues, family sentiments, music, dances, exotic locales and art work. The promos, which offer hints at its mass elements, have soared up viewers' expectations to the sky high.

RV Story
The makers of Ramayya Vastavayya have kept the story and other details of its characters under wrap. But if we are to go by the reports, the story revolves around a stubborn girl (Shruthi Hassan), who enjoys causing troubles to the family of Samntha. Jr NTR comes in to scene to teach her a lesson.
Jr NTR's Role In RV
Harish Shankar says that Junior NTR is playing a college student, but there are no classroom scenes. He adds, "NTR has a great sense of humour offscreen. So I have tried to bring some of that into his characterisation. Reports suggest that his role has two different shades as a college student and as Police Officer.
Samantha's Role In RV
Samantha will be seen in a very interesting role. Her relationship with the hero starts off with quarrels, but slowly, things change and there will be one twist that will be crucial for the story.
Shruti Hassan's Role In RV
Talking about her role, Harish Shankar says that she accepted the role without knowing about her character. She is not playing the second female lead in this movie. She is portraying a crucial guest role.

S Thaman's Music For RV
Ramayya Vastavayya has six songs and S Thaman has composed tunes for them. All of them have impressed the music lovers. Especially, the song 'Jabilli Nuvve Cheppamma' sung by Ranjith has gone on to become a chartbuster. His background score will also be a highlight in the film.
Chota K Naidu's Camera Work For RV
The 80% of the movie has been shot in Hyderabad and the rest in Pollachi and songs in different location in India. A few sequences have also been canned in the exotic locales of Spain and Europe. Chota K Naidu's camera work will be one of the main attraction in the technical front.

'A' Certificate For RV
Ramayya Vastavayya, which has running length of approximately 2 hours 35 minutes, has got ‘A' Certificate from the regional Censor Board. Sources from the film unit say that the movie has some high voltage action sequences and some raw fights, which forced the Board to award an A Certificate for it.
RV Release Date
Ramayya Vastavayya was initially slated to release on September 27, but the political turmoil in the state delayed the movie. Now, producer Dil Raju has planned to release it in 1500 screens across the globe on October 11.
