Hyderabad:
Shanvi
Srivastav
might
have
been
born
and
brought
up
in
Varanasi,
but
she
is
quite
popular
in
southern
films.
She
has
recently
completed
shooting
for
her
second
Telugu
project
Adda,
which
features
opposite
actor
Sushant.
The
actress
says
that
she
yearns
to
play
rural
characters
that
are
contrary
to
her
real
personality.
In
an
interview
to
IANS,
Shanvi
Srivastav
said,
"I
need
to
be
open
to
different
roles.
While
I've
played
city-bred
characters
in
my
first
two
films,
I
really
look
forward
to
play
a
rural
south
Indian
girl
in
the
future.
I
want
to
play
roles
that
are
contrary
to
my
personality
and
ethnicity."
The
actress
added,
"I
still
remember
when
Sushant,
my
co-star,
asked
me
how
will
I
manage
if
I
were
to
play
a
typical
rural
south
Indian
girl?
I
told
him
that
deep
within
me
lies
a
cute
south
Indian
girl,
who
is
always
ready
to
drape
a
half-sari
and
pose
two
'chotis',
if
needed."
Shanvi
is
playing
a
fashion
designing
student
in
the
movie
Adda
and
she
loves
her
character.
She
said,
"I'm
expected
to
be
always
stylish
and
classy." She
has
recently
completed
her
graduation
and
now
she
is
ready
to
accept
more
projects.
She
said,
"Even
though
I
got
offers
while
working
for
Adda,
I
couldn't
take
them
up
because
I
had
to
take
a
break
for
exams.
Now
that
I
have
completed
my
B.
Com
exams,
I
will
go
back
to
Hyderabad
and
take
up
projects."
She
aspires
to
diversify
to
other
industries,
but
said,
"I
want
to
do
films
in
other
languages
as
well,
but
for
the
time
being
I
want
to
concentrate
on
Telugu.
I
want
to
do
some
good
films
here
before
I
plan
to
diversify.
However,
if
I
manage
to
get
a
really
exciting
project
in
other
language,
then
I
might
take
it
up."
